Epic is the third studio album of the band Blood on the Dance Floor in Orlando ( Florida ). It was released on October 5, 2010 under the Candyland Records label and is the first studio album with the new Screamer by the band Jayy von Monroe.
Publication and promotion
The album was released as a download and on CD. On the official merchandise page of Blood on the Dance Floor you could pre-order the standard version of the album and a fan package that contained the album as well as a signed poster, wristbands and stickers. The album was originally supposed to contain the songs "DUI", "Inject Me Sweetly" and "Sexting Remix", all of which contained lyrics by Jeffree Star . However, due to a feud between the star and the band, the songs were swapped; For example, "Inject Me Sweetly" was reworked and the Stars part was taken over by Jayy von Monroe. "DUI" was later released without Jeffree Star and offered as a free download, but the version with the star was unofficially leaked on the Internet.
Two music videos were also released for the album; "Believe" and "Death to Your Heart". A music video for "sexting" was announced but never released.
The songs "Horrifically Delicious", "Lookin 'Hot Dangerous!" And "IDGAF" have been released earlier. The songs, some of which were still recorded with Garrett Ecstasy, have been revised and improved.
Artwork
The photo for the album cover shows Vanity and Jayy from Monroe against a green background. Both wear eye-catching contact lenses and makeup.
