(R) Evolution is the fifth studio album by the electro, house and screamo band Blood on the Dance Floor from Orlando , Florida . It was released on June 19, 2012 under the Dark Fantasy Records label. It reached number 42 on the US Billboard 200 chart and number 1 on the US electro chart. On October 30, 2012, the album was released again under the title The Revolution Pack . In addition to the album, The Revolution Pack also contains the extended plays The Anthem of the Outcast and Clubbed to Death! .
Publication and promotion
The album was released as a download and on CD. On the official merchandise page of Blood on the Dance Floor you could pre-order four different versions of fan packs that contained additional merchandise in addition to the album. Pre-orderers also received the song Incomplete & All Alone (feat. Joel Madden ) earlier and on the day of release the EP Clubbed to Death! which contained three new songs.
The music videos Unforgiven and Rise And Shine (Featuring Deuce ) were released for the album .
Artwork
The photo for the album cover shows Vanity on the left in bright clothes and makeup. Jayy from Monroe is next to it, wearing a black suit, eye-catching makeup and colored contact lenses. The title of the album (R) Evolution, which is located below, was written with various special characters .
