Erdoğan Coşkun (born August 8, 1983 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK in the Turkish Super League since 2010 .

Career

Erdoğan Coşkun began his career as an ice hockey player with İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for whom he made his debut in the Superliga in 2001 at the age of 18 . He spent the 2001/02 season with İstanbul Paten SK , who was not playing first class at the time. He then returned to the super league and was on the ice for three years for the Turkish Police Department , with which he won the Turkish championship in 2004, 2005 and 2006 . Despite the success, he left the team from the capital Ankara in 2006 and joined the Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , with whom he was able to win the national championship again in his first season there, it was the first title for the team from İzmit . After no further title was added in the following years, Coşkun moved back to his home club in İzmir in 2010, which was then still playing in the second Turkish league. Since 2011 he has been back with the team in the super league and in 2013 it was enough for the runner-up title behind the Başkent Yıldızları SK .

International

For Turkey, Coşkun took part in the junior division of the 2003 U20 World Cup in Division III.

He played with the men's national team at the World Championships in Division II in 2002 , 2005 , 2007 , 2010 , 2013 and 2014 as well as in the World Championships in Division III in 2004 , 2006 , 2008 , 2011 , 2012 , when he had the best plus / minus balance of all players reached, and 2015 . He also represented his colors at the pre-qualification tournament for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver .
