Eric Jansen (born May 5, 2000 ) is a German soccer player . He is currently under contract with Karlsruher SC .

Career

Jansen began his football career at SV Perouse . In January 2015, he switched to the youth team at Karlsruher SC, where he went through the youth teams through the U-17 team to the U-19. On September 15, 2018, the 7th matchday of the 2018/19 season, he was part of the professional team for the first time in the away game against VfL Osnabrück . In the 1-0 win, he came on for Marc Lorenz in the final seconds of the game , making his first professional appearance. With this assignment he was part of the Karlsruhe team, which was promoted to the second Bundesliga at the end of the season.

In addition, Jansen completed one game for the German U-17 national team and three for the U-18 national team . He is also currently on the U-19 national team , for which he has played two games so far.
