Alexander Groiß (born July 1, 1998 in Aalen ) is a German soccer player who is currently under contract with Karlsruher SC . Groiß first played for FC Schechingen in his youth. In 2012 he moved to VfB Stuttgart .

With the second team of VfB Groiß made his professional debut on May 7, 2016 on the 37th match day of the 2015/16 season in the 3rd professional league against 1. FC Magdeburg .

On August 21, 2018, Groiß moved to Karlsruher SC . VfB Stuttgart secured a buyback option and a resale participation. He played his first game for Karlsruhe in a 0-0 draw against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on August 25, 2018 (5th matchday), when he came on for Marvin Wanitzek in the fifth minute of stoppage time . On October 10, 2018, he scored his first goal in a competitive game for KSC with a long-range shot in a 2-0 victory in the quarter-finals of the BFV Cup against FC Astoria Walldorf . Groiß played 17 games for Karlsruhe in the third division and was promoted to the second division with the club at the end of the season.
