Lukas Thomas Fröde (born January 23, 1995 in Fulda ) is a German soccer player . The defensive midfielder will be under contract with the second division Karlsruher SC from the 2019/20 season .

Career

societies

Fröde began his career in 1999 at TSV Neuenberg . He then played for Borussia Fulda and Haimbacher SV before moving to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 2007 . In 2009 he moved to Werder Bremen's C-youth team . There he moved up for the 2013/14 season to the second team that plays in the Regionalliga Nord . On August 11, 2013 he made his debut in the 0-1 defeat at SV Meppen under the then coach Viktor Skripnik . He scored his first goal on March 28, 2014 in a 2-0 win against BV Cloppenburg with the goal to take the 1-0 lead in the 39th minute. In the 2014/15 season he rose to the 3rd league after winning the championship and successful promotion games with the team .

From March 2015 Fröde was in the squad of the first team and was on the bench for the first time on March 1, 2015 in the home game against VfL Wolfsburg . On May 2, 2015, he made his debut in a 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt , when he was substituted on for Zlatko Junuzović in added time. For the second half of the 2016/17 season , Fröde moved to the second division club Würzburger Kickers . There he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Braunschweig on January 28, 2017, the 18th matchday. He scored his first professional goal on May 6, 2017, the 32nd matchday, in a 1-1 draw against Fortuna Düsseldorf . At the end of the season he was relegated to the 3rd division with Würzburg.

For the 2017/18 season Fröde moved to the second division promoted MSV Duisburg . In mid-July 2018 it was announced that he had extended his contract with MSV until 2020.

At the end of the 2018/19 season, however, Fröde relegated Duisburg to the 3rd division, so that his contract was no longer valid. He then joined the second division promoted Karlsruher SC , which provided him with a contract valid until June 2021.

National team

On March 15, 2011, Fröde played for the first time for the German U16 team in the friendly against Romania . On April 13, 2011, he scored his only goal in the DFB dress in a 5-0 win in Latvia . For the U17 national team , Fröde played seven times in friendly matches. At the end of 2012 he also played two friendly matches for the U18 team .
