Erich tho Rahde

Erich tho Rahde (born April 15, 1875 in Oldenburg (Oldb) ; † May 30, 1927 in Berlin ) was a German administrative and banking lawyer .

Life

In 1893/94 he served as a one-year volunteer at the Kgl. Saxon 6th Infantry Regiment "King Wilhelm II of Württemberg" No. 105 in Strasbourg . He studied law at the Kaiser Wilhelms University . After the exams he entered the civil service of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg . In 1901 he became a government assessor and head of the Oldenburg police administration. After 1906 the Governing Council appointed, he was appointed as Senate Counsel to Lübeck added.

In 1909, however, he switched to banking. First he was at the Deutsche Nationalbank in Osnabrück , then at the management of the discount company in Saarbrücken , Mainz and Osnabrück. Captain of the Reserve since 1911 , he went to the First World War in 1914 . As a company commander and battalion commander (November 1915) in the Kgl. He fought the Saxon 8th Infantry Regiment "Prince Johann Georg" No. 107 in the Battle of Tannenberg (1914) , the Battle of the Masurian Lakes , the Battle of the Carpathians , the Battle of Lemberg and the Battle of Verdun . In 1917 he served as head of the financial administration in Longwy , as head of administration of the 5th Army and finally as major d. R. in the general staff of the stage inspection. He was awarded both Iron Crosses .

At the Spartacus uprising in Berlin he was in the ranks of the Guard Cavalry Rifle Division . Moved to Frankfurt am Main in 1921 , he became a member of the board of directors of Frankfurter Hypothekenbank on August 15, 1925 . The faction of the German National People's Party in the Frankfurt city administration sent him to the magistrate in 1926 . He was deputy chairman of the Senate Committee, a member of the Deputation for Health Care, the School Committee for Higher Schools, and the Business Deputation.

Since 1893 member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg , he was involved in the reconstitution of the Corps Palaio-Alsatia in Frankfurt am Main as part of the Strasbourg presentation . For this he received the Altelsaesser Band in 1923. From 1925 to 1927 he was deputy chairman of the general committee of the VAC . He dealt intensively with the scale length .

He was married to Luise geb. Belters . The son Detmar (* 1906) became "Straßenrhenane" in Marburg.
