Ernst wet nurse

Ernst nurse (* 11. January 1863 in Uetze ; † 20th December 1930 in Mukden , China) was a German mechanical engineering - engineering and business owners .

Life

After completing his studies, the miller's son Ernst Amme initially worked in the Braunschweig machine factory and mill construction company G. Luther . In 1895, together with his former work colleagues Carl Giesecke and Julius Konegen, he founded the Amme, Giesecke & Konegen (AGK) mill construction company in Braunschweig . In 1908 the company was the largest machine factory in the Duchy of Braunschweig with 2,300 employees . After armaments production during the First World War and the return to peace production , AGK merged with G. Luther in 1925 and now traded as Mühlenbau- und Industrie-Aktiengesellschaft (MIAG) , which was taken over by Bühler AG in 1972 .

Ernst Amme was appointed to the Commerce Councilor in 1912 and received an honorary doctorate from the Technical University of Braunschweig on October 27, 1919 . He was a member of the Braunschweig State Parliament and the Freemason Lodge Carl for the Crowned Pillar in Braunschweig. Nurse died in China in 1930 on a business trip.

Ernst-Amme-Strasse in Braunschweig is named after him.
