Erol Nowak

Erol Nowak (* 1975 in Grieskirchen bei Wels ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

From 1997 Erol Nowak attended the Athanor Academy for Performing Arts at Burghausen Castle , which he finished in 2001 with a state final and stage qualification examination . At the same time he attended Meyerhold technology seminars with Philip Breese, movement and combat technology seminars with Robert Mac Dougall, Shakespeare workshops with Eve Jameson at the Royal Scottish Academy of Drama an Art in Glasgow and Grotowski workshops with Zygmunt Molik. During his training he was engaged as an actor in the Jedermann production at the Salzburg Festival . In 2017 he was awarded the academic degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz .

In 2005 he founded the Nowak & Nowak Kunst & Kultur Produktion Wien together with the actor and director Steffen Nowak , with which he produced, among other things, the play Theater of the Film Noir by George F. Walker in 2008 , in which he was in Austria at the 3raum-Anatomietheater , in Poland and Canada. He was seen with other productions at the Schauspielhaus Wien in 2010 and at the Anker bread factory Expedithalle Wien in 2012/13 .

In 2012, he played the role of the policeman named after production designer Hannes Salat in the TV series Braunschlag . He had leading roles in Herzerlfresser (2009) by director Anna Schwingenschuh and in Interferenz (2012) by director Lukas Feigelfeld.
