In 2008 Euromaint Rail set up a components workshop in Jelgava , Latvia . EuroMaint Industry took over business activities from Stora Enso . The maintenance and tools division was transferred from Husqvarna to EuroMaint Industry, which also bought EISAB Energi och Industriservice AB in Vänersborg . In 2009 the maintenance workshop for rail vehicles was bought by Skandiatransport in Landskrona .

In 2010, Euromaint Rail took over the maintenance of the X40 trains in Västerås .
