Hazards and protective measures

Due to the special geomorphological conditions, there is no major risk from anthropogenic factors. Only at the edge of the protected area do some potential hazards arise, including pollution from garbage left behind in the areas set up as parking lots along the roads leading past the protected area. Some of these parking spaces are also used for other purposes due to wild camping and the associated problems. From 1984 to 2010, a clay pigeon shooting range was in operation on the southeastern edge of the protected area . The area of the shooting range was renovated in 2015, but it is assumed that due to the fissured and difficult to access area it is still contaminated with heavy metals . The Laghisoli wetland is directly adjacent to an agriculturally used private property, which means that there are certain potential hazards. In the past, wastewater entered the wetland. The removal of dwarf bonsai-like plants, mostly along or in the immediate vicinity of the visitor paths, can also be viewed as a threat .
