Facundo Sebastián Roncaglia (born February 10, 1987 in Chajarí , Entre Ríos ) is an Argentine football player on the position of defender .

Life

Roncaglia received his first professional contract with Argentina's most popular club, Boca Juniors , with which he was under contract from 2007 to 2012. On loan twice, he played the 2009/10 season at Spanish club Espanyol Barcelona and the following 2010/11 season again in his home country at Bocas league rivals Estudiantes de La Plata . During the same period Roncaglia won the Argentine championship title three times ; with Boca the Apertura 2008 and 2011 and in between with the Estudiantes the Apertura 2010.

Before the 2012/13 season , Roncaglia moved to Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A , where he has been under contract ever since. For the 2014/15 season he was awarded to the CFC Genoa .

He made his debut in the dress of the Argentine national team in a test match against Ecuador in mid-November 2013, which ended goalless.
