Green factor (own spelling faktorgruͤn ) is a German landscape architecture firm with offices in Freiburg , Rottweil , Heidelberg and Stuttgart .

The range of services offered by the office includes open space planning and landscape planning . Customers are primarily cities and municipalities, as well as companies, institutions and research facilities.

The office took part in open space planning and urban development competitions. In 2018, faktorgruen took 3rd place in the industry-relevant Competitionline ranking 2018 in the landscape architects category.

The partnership with six partners employs around 70 people at its four locations, including landscape architects , engineers , biologists and geographers .

The full company name is: faktorgruen Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB Glaser, Moosmann, Pfaff, Rötzer, Schütze, Schedlbauer Free landscape architects and consulting engineers. In short, the office is called: factor green landscape architects bdla consulting engineers. The "bdla" stands for the membership of the office in the Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten , the professional association of German landscape architects.

history

faktorgruen was founded in 1983 under the name Krupp + Losert by the landscape architects Mathias Krupp and Wolfgang Losert in Freiburg . The first location of the office on Zasiusstrasse in Freiburg-Wiehre soon became too small : in 1991 the company moved to Denzlingen near Freiburg. In 1993 the new partner, the landscape architect Jürgen Pfaff, founded a branch in Rottweil, the name was then changed to Krupp, Losert and Partner.

In 1996 the first employee in the Krupp + Losert office, the landscape architect Edith Schütze, also became a partner. In 2001, the landscape architect Martin Schedlbauer, who had been with the office since 1990 (initially as an employee, from 1994 as a freelancer), joined him as a partner and brought the idea for the new name faktorgruen with him. In 2007 Mathias Krupp left the partnership.

Since 2011 there has been another office location in Heidelberg , since 2013 one in Stuttgart-Vaihingen . In 2014, Stefanie Moosmann and Markus Rötzer, two other employees, became partners as landscape architects, while founding partner Wolfgang Losert left the partnership . At the beginning of 2017, a sixth partner was added, the geographer and consulting engineer Michael Glaser, who, with Edith Schütze, is responsible for landscape planning.
