action

Hans and Peter are now family fathers. But their hits are not for sale. The wives have to help out and make dance music like they used to, this time on a luxury steamer in the Mediterranean. The men now take care of the babies and come into conflict with state welfare.

Finally, they follow their wives as an American millionaire and their maid on board the ship. They jealously suspect their courted wives, in the end they are suspected of having murdered the real American women, but everything is happily resolved.

Production notes

The film was produced in the Bavaria Film studio in Geiselgasteig . The outdoor shots were taken in Munich , Genoa , on Ischia and on board the Mediterranean steamer Neptunia . The buildings were created by Hans Sohnle and Fritz Lück , production managers were Georg Richter and Werner Drake. The premiere took place on September 3, 1953 in Hanover.

Reviews

“The two jobless musicians step into women's clothes once more to monitor their wives playing on a ship to dance, and get into compromising situations. A tasteless and unimaginative attempt to build on the popular success of the first musical Schwank. "

"Dieter Borsche doesn't have it easy to compete next to› colleague ‹Georg Thomalla, who once again pulls all the comic stops from fine word gag to exuberant clothes with virtuosity."
