Life

At the age of six he began classical piano training. At the age of fourteen he played in his first band. Other more professional bands followed. At the age of 17 Weber toured with an American cover band through the officers' clubs of the US Army stationed in Bavaria . A short time later he switched to the band "Rockets" which played in the northern Bavarian region. At this time Felix Weber met his composer partner Irmgard Klarmann, with whom he has been composing and producing ever since. Both are known as a duo under the composer's name " Klarmann / Weber ".

In 1978 Weber and Irmgard Klarmann produced his first record in the Galgenberg studio (“Saturday evening”). He met the American producer and drummer Todd Canedy , from whom he learned how productions have to sound that are supposed to withstand international competition. A short time later, Weber set up his own recording studio.

In 1981 Weber received the offer to join the Bavarian band " Relax ". TV appearances, gold records and contacts in the music industry were the result of his six-year commitment at Relax. During this time Weber also composed for artists such as Mandy Winter , Kristina Bach , Alexis , Wolfgang Fierek , Guillermo Marchena , Hans Hartz , Veronika Fischer and Bernie Paul . In 1987 he left Relax and concentrated on his international career.

Since Weber was fascinated by American music, he began to compose for the American market, which brought him his first Top 40 hit in the USA in 1988 with Tracie Spencer ("Symptoms of true Love"). In 1992 Weber had his first number 1 and number 2 hit in the American charts with the singer Chaka Khan ("Love you all my Lifetime"). Chaka Khan's album "The Woman I am" won a Grammy , and Weber's song received the ASCAP Award from the American Society for Authors and Publishers. In the same year Weber and his partner Irmgard Klarmann were described as Germany's most successful authors in an article in the American Billboard magazine . Further publications followed with Paul Anka , La Toya Jackson , Leo Sayer , Toni Braxton , La Bouche , Beverley Knight , Jennifer Rush , Seiko Matsuda , Randy Crawford , Vanessa Amorosi , Expose , Nancy Wilson and Boney James .

Weber moved to the USA in the late 1990s, where he founded a production company in Atlanta.
