Klarmann / Weber

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Klarmann / Weber (Irmgard Klarmann, born October 27, 1957 and Felix Weber , born December 1, 1960 ) are a German team of music producers and songwriters .

The duo has been composing and producing music for international artists since the late 1970s. In the 1990s, Klarmann / Weber increasingly worked with British and American songwriters, which prompted Felix Weber to move to America in 2000 . Today Klarmann / Weber compose and produce in their studios in Germany and America.

Klarmann / Weber had successful releases for Chaka Khan , Randy Crawford , Toni Braxton , Paul Anka , Tracie Spencer and La Bouche / Melanie Thornton . In 1985 Klarmann / Weber composed the Christmas song Christmas Time for a friend who commissioned the song as a Christmas present for business customers. The song was sent to radio stations under the pseudonym Gingerbread and has since been included in the music program every year at Christmas time. The song was never available as a record. There were only a few discs for the radio DJs of the German-speaking stations. In 2009 the song was re-recorded and again released under the pseudonym Gingerbread . The new recording was sung by Klarmann's four children.

In addition to his work as a producer and songwriter, Felix Weber was also the keyboard player for the Relax group .
