Felix von Bredow

Felix von Bredow (* 1986 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) is a German actor .

Life

Felix von Bredow completed his acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 2008 to 2012 . During his studies he played at the theater in der Josefstadt . There he was u. a. Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening , alongside Christian Erdt as Moritz Stiefel.

After his training, he had theater engagements at the BAT-Theater Berlin and at the Theater der Jugend (TdJ) in Vienna. From 2012 he played regularly at the Vorarlberger Landestheater . There he made his debut in the 2012/13 season as Servant Lane in Bunbury by Oscar Wilde . In the 2015/16 season he embodied Achilles in a new production of the Kleist play Penthesilea . He also took over the Güldenstern in Tom Stoppard's play Rosenkranz and Güldenstern are dead in the 2015/16 season . In the 2016/17 season he was the young Adolf Hitler in George Tabori's theater grotesque Mein Kampf .

He had further theater engagements at the Kammertheater Karlsruhe (2014) and at the Theater Heilbronn (2016).

Felix von Bredow also stood in front of the camera for several cinema and TV productions. In the German film drama War (alternative title: Fremder Feind ) by Rick Ostermann , which premiered on September 2017 at the Venice Film Festival , von Bredow took on a supporting role as a police officer.

In the ZDF television series Wilsberg , he played one of the main roles in the television film Wilsberg: Alle Jahre wieder (first broadcast: December 2017), as the stepson of a respected judge from Münster , who got involved in planning a bank robbery due to financial hardship.

He also had episode roles in the TV series Hubert and Staller (2015), Der Alte (2015) and SOKO Munich (2016). In the 17th season of the TV series Um Himmels Willen (2018), von Bredow played one of the main episode roles as an alcoholic boyfriend and son, alongside Janina Hartwig , Alexandra Martini and Jutta Schmuttermaier . In the 19th season of the ZDF series Die Rosenheim-Cops (2019), Felix von Bredow took on one of the episode roles as a suspect rider on a noble stud. In the 11th season of the TV series Die Bergretter (2019) he took on an episode role as the young pharmacist Benedikt Breitenstein, who, without a degree and without approval, stretched expensive cytostatics . In the 4th season of the TV series WaPo Bodensee (2020) he took on an episode role as a computer science student and suspected roommate of a murdered environmental activist.

Felix von Bredow lives in Munich.
