Ferdinand Boldemann

John Ernst Ferdinand Boldemann (born January 21, 1847 in Schiffbeck an der Bille , † April 1, 1921 in Lübeck ) was a German businessman .

Life

Ferdinand Boldemannm was a son of Joachim Georg Samuel Boldemann (1802-1852) from Grabow and his wife Elisabeth, née. Brandt (1819-1886). Friedrich Boldemann was his uncle.

Hermann Deecke founded a company for agencies and commissions in the Hanseatic city in 1868 . In Hamburg the later Senator from Lübeck married Johanna, Boldemann's sister, on August 8, 1869 the following year.

According to the decision of the Chamber of Commerce, Boldemann was appointed as its auditor. At the meeting of the merchants on June 29, 1897, HCW Eschenburg was elected a member of the Chamber of Commerce instead.

In place of HL Th. Kähler, who had been appointed civil deputy at the tax authorities, on June 26, 1902, Boldemann was elected in his place at the tax assessment commission for the south side of the city. In the following year he was elected as a civil deputy to the head of the hospital , today Sana Kliniken .

In accordance with Section 6 of the Exchange Rules and Section 3 of the provisions of the Product Exchange , on August 20, 1904, Boldemann, among others, was elected as a representative of the trading stand to the members of the Board of Directors of the Product Exchange .

Boldemann also took part in public life. He was particularly interested in all areas such as the medical column , the deaconess system or the Patriotic Women's Association of the Red Cross .

Boldemann also worked as the lodge master of the Johannisloge “Zum Füllhorn” of the great state lodge of the Freemasons of Germany .

Around noon on April 1, 1921, the senior boss suffered a stroke and died. Most recently he lived in Villa Roeckstrasse 1. He was cremated and the urn was buried in the Jakobi field of the Burgtorfriedhof .
