The hamlet of Fichtach belongs to Rabenausig , a district of the Frankenblick community in the Sonneberg district in Thuringia .
location
Fichtach is located north of Effelder on the district roads 11 and 33 on the southern roof of the Thuringian Slate Mountains . The courtyards and single houses are oriented in the shape of a hamlet.
history
The mountain village was first mentioned in a document in 1528. Around 1830, the hamlet, which only consisted of a few individual houses, merged with the other hamlets of Rabenüßig, Melchersberg and Hohetann to form the municipality of Rabenüßig.
