The former village ofschichtshöhn is located in the southwest of Megersgereuth-Hammern.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document from 1358–1362. On April 1, 1923, the forced incorporation followed to Megersgereuth-Hammern.

On January 1, 2012, as part of the merger of the municipalities of Effelder-Rauenstein and Mengersgereuth-Hammern, Shiftshöhn became part of the municipality of Frankenblick .
