Cemetery behind the church

The church building is surrounded by a cemetery with a cemetery wall. On the wall is the former cemetery chapel with an outer pulpit, originally a Protestant chapel from the 16th century. It is a rectangular building with a tent roof .

The exterior staircase is on the south side of the church. Above the west facade of the church is a roof turret with a pointed helmet . The three-bay nave is from one to sign consoles seated net vault spans. One of the consoles bears the coat of arms of the Mankhi and the keystone that of the Counts of Montfort . The seamless, one-yoke choir is one step higher. It has a five-eighth closure and is vaulted by a ribbed vault. The keystones of the choir show the Lamb of God and a head. To the north of the choir, the sacristy closes with a late Gothic shoulder arch portal . On the sides of the eastern yoke of the nave are two baroque chapels, raised by two steps. In the west is the gallery from the second half of the 18th century with a curved parapet made of wood. The pulpit dates from around 1768.

The high altar is designed in the Rococo style and has a free-standing tabernacle . According to the inscription, the altar leaf donated by Maria Elisabeth von Heipl shows St. Margaretha , inscribed "1768 Josef Mölckh pinxit" . In the two side chapels with frescoes by Johann Cyriak Hackhofer around 1724 there are painted prospectuses on the side altars: on the north, the Assumption of Mary , on the south depicting Christ on the cross. There are also statues of Saints Augustine and Mauritius on the southern altar . In the choir there is a portrait of St. Barbara , which was painted in 1768 by Joseph Adam Ritter von Mölk. In addition, there are baroque images of Christ in the dungeon and a miraculous image of Mary with instruments of the Passion from the Graz Cathedral, as well as several tombstones made of red marble. The three chandeliers date from the first half of the 19th century. The organ was built by Ferdinand Schwarz in 1774.
