Filiberto Ascuy Aguilera
Filiberto Ascuy Aguilera (born October 13, 1972 in Camagüey ) is a former Cuban wrestler in the Greco-Roman style. The 1.65 meter high sports teacher was internationally active from 1993 to 2004. In 1996 and 2000 he was Olympic champion and in 2001 he won the world title. After a 6th place at the 2004 Olympic Games , he ended his career. In 2004 he was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame for his services to wrestling .
