Bombardier Flexity Classic
The Flexity Classic is a series of low-floor - trams from manufacturer Bombardier Transportation , primarily engaged in work Bautzen is made. The original name of this vehicle family was DWA -LF 2000 .
technology
A fully-fledged two-axle bogie is located under the end segments 2-3 meters in front of the end of the wagon. Towards the middle of the carriage, the end segments are attached to the middle segment or one of the middle segments. In the eight-axle types, with the exception of the Dresden one, the middle segment has two bogies that tower above it, as in the Freiburg GT8 and also the DUEWAG low-floor wagon , here especially in the Leipzig version. There are also two different types of six-axle vehicles, either with the end segments resting on an intermediate car (Danzig, Krakau) or with a four-axle wagon section on which a two-axle vehicle is saddled (Halle, Dessau), an eight-axle vehicle, so to speak, with the first segment is missing. The Dresden and Leipzig twelve-axle vehicles consist of five parts, the end parts each run on two drive units and the middle part on two running bogies. The two short boxes 2 and 4 have no drive and are suspended between the end and middle parts. The wheel sets are also regulating gear sets with continuous axle shafts.
Length, appearance and equipment (for example one or two-way vehicle) and the manufacturer of the electrical equipment are different and are specified by the respective customer (transport company).
