Floraleda Sacchi (born June 14, 1978 in Como ) is an Italian harpist , composer and musicologist .

Act

Floraleda Sacchi Sacchi plays the pedal harp , Celtic harp , electric harp and historical harps and received her training at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi di Como . She can be heard at international festivals and as a soloist with an orchestra and regularly plays on TV and radio recordings. In addition to concert appearances in Europe, she was a guest in Japan and the USA . Some concert locations : Carnegie Hall -Weill Recital Hall (New York), United Nations Palace (New York), Klang-Bogen (Vienna), Gewandhaus (Leipzig), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Sala Verdi (Milan), Teatro Valle (Rome) , Matsuo Hall (Tokyo), Prefectural Hall Alti (Kyoto), Teatro Municipal de Lima (Peru), Salle Varese (Lyon), Gasteig (Munich), Hypo-Kunsthalle (Munich), Concerts de la Croix Rouge (Geneva), Theater Bellevue (Amsterdam), Gessler Hall (Vancouver), CBC - Glenn Gould Studio (Toronto), Teatro Bibiena (Mantua), Emilia Romagna Festival, Festival Pontino, Lamspringer September, Rosegart Foundation (Lucerne).

In 1999 she won the Harpa Award in Prague with her book about Elias Parish Alvars , and since 2006 she has been the artistic director of the LakeComo Festival.
