Florian Fischer (photographer)

Florian Fischer (born January 2, 1981 in Tübingen ) is a German auteur filmmaker (director, screenplay, camera, editor), photographer and designer .

Life

He studied communication design and photography at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) . He received several awards during his studies. At the Berlin private college for photography, the Ostkreuzschule , he was a “master student ” of Arno Fischer . He worked as a freelance designer and photographer and was a lecturer in the Media Informatics course at the Harz University from 2011 to 2016 . In 2017, he completed a master's degree in image sciences at Danube University Krems . In 2018 he was a “Berlinale Talents Alumnus”. As a participant in the short film competition, he and Johannes Krell won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film 2019.

Since 2014, he has focused, in part, on film projects, and together with his filmmaker duo partner Johannes Krell, he has received important short film prizes.
