Florian Keller (born January 30, 1976 in Grafing ) is a former German ice hockey player who has been working as an ice hockey expert at Servus TV since the end of his career .

Career

The 1.88 m tall winger began his career in the youth teams of the DJK Rosenheim , for whose outsourced professional team, the Starbulls Rosenheim, he was also on the ice in the DEL from 1994 . In 1996 the right-handed player moved to the Adler Mannheim , with whom he won the German championship in 1997 and which he then left in the direction of the Augsburg Panthers.

Between 1998 and 2002 Keller played for EC Bad Tölz in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey , in the 2002/03 season he finally celebrated his comeback with the Eisbären Berlin in the top German professional game class. With the Eisbären, Keller was again German champion in 2005 , but then left Berlin in the 2005/06 season for Ingolstadt. After two years at ERC , the striker finally moved to the Nürnberg Ice Tigers for the 2007/08 season , where he ended his active career in 2008 after a serious injury.

International

For the German national ice hockey team , Florian Keller played various international junior tournaments between 1993 and 1995, and for the seniors he completed the World Cup of Hockey in 1996 and the World Cup in 1998 .
