Florian Kirschbauer (born July 28, 1988 in Munich ) is a German ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL2 .
Career
Florian Kirschbauer started playing ice hockey at ESC Holzkirchen and later moved to EC Bad Tölz , where he played in the German junior league from 2003 to 2006 . In the following two years he was able to fight for a regular place in the Tölzer Oberliga team and was also used in the Junior Bundesliga. The defender was part of the championship team that made it to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2008 . In the 2008/09 season , the right-handed shooter was equipped with a license for the Straubing Tigers from the DEL , for which he did not, however, play a competitive game. In the summer of 2009, Kirschbauer moved to the SERC Wild Wings , for whom he played in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2009/10 season . In the summer of 2010 he moved to EHC Dortmund before the Eispiraten Crimmitschau signed him in 2013.
International
Kirschbauer took part with the German U18 team in the 2006 World Cup and with the U20 team in the Division I World Cup in 2008 when they were promoted to the top division.
