Florian Kringe (born August 18, 1982 in Siegen ) is a former German soccer player . He was mainly used in midfield or as a full-back, left and right.

Career

Kringe played at TSV Weißtal up to the E-youth and since the C-youth in 1994 for the BVB. From 2002 to 2004 he was loaned to 1. FC Köln and in the 2009/10 season to Hertha BSC .

After a year in the 2nd division, he rose to the 1st Bundesliga in 2003 with 1. FC Köln. In 2004 he returned to BVB, for which he played 26 games from the start in his first season in the first Bundesliga and scored one goal. From then on he belonged to the tribe of BVB. With Borussia Dortmund, Kringe was in the DFB Cup final in Berlin on April 19, 2008 , which the team lost 2-1 to FC Bayern Munich after extra time .

Due to his achievements, he was also called up for the last game of the perspective team in 2006 .

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, Borussia Dortmund loaned the midfielder, who had recently played little, to Hertha BSC for a year . However, he suffered a metatarsal fracture in the first game for his new club (1: 2 defeat in Mainz) and was out for several months. On December 16, 2009 he made his comeback in the Europa League game against Sporting Lisbon (1-0). On April 10, 2010, Kringe suffered a new metatarsal fracture in the Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart immediately after being substituted on, and was out for eleven months until March 2011.

After his return to Dortmund he was only used in the second team. With Borussia he became German champion in the 2010/11 season without having played an encounter . In the round of 16 of the DFB Cup of the 2011/12 season , Kringe made his comeback in the first team when he played in the away game against Fortuna Düsseldorf (0: 0 a.s. , 5: 4 i. E. ) in the 80th minute was substituted on for Chris Löwe . On the 32nd matchday of the 2011/12 season , Kringe became German champions for the third time in his career with Borussia Dortmund. On matchday 33, he came on as a substitute for Mario Götze in the game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern (5-2) in the 77th minute and made his first appearance in the Bundesliga after two years. His contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not renewed and he was passed on the last day of the game.

At the start of training in July 2012, he kept fit with the Hamburg second division club FC St. Pauli . At the end of July he was then committed by this and received a contract for the 2012/13 season .
