Florian Rieder (born May 16, 1996 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Rieder began his career at Innsbruck AC . In 2005 he came to SV Natters . After that he played for WSG Wattens , SVG Reichenau and Innsbrucker SK before joining the youth team of FC Wacker Innsbruck in 2012 .

In March 2014 he finally played for the first time for the Innsbruck amateurs in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Kevin Nitzlnader in the 52nd minute on matchday 17 of the 2013/14 season against SV Seekirchen 1945 .

After four years at Wacker Innsbruck, Rieder moved to FC Kufstein for the 2016/17 season . After only half a year at Kufstein, however, he returned to Wacker in January 2017. In May 2017 he finally made his debut for the professionals in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Ante Roguljić on matchday 35 of the 2016/17 season against SV Horn in the 72nd minute . In that game he even managed to score the 2-0 goal.

For the 2017/18 season, Rieder received a professional contract valid until June 2019. With Innsbruck he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018 . With Wacker he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2019.

He then moved to the Bundesliga club WSG Tirol for the 2019/20 season .
