Raffael Behounek (born April 16, 1997 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Behounek started his career at FC Stadlau . With the Viennese he went through all youth departments. In April 2014 he made his debut for Stadlau's first team in the Vienna City League when he came on as a substitute for Mathias Honsak on matchday 21 of the 2013/14 season against Gersthofer SV in the 29th minute . The next day he scored his first goal for Stadlau in a 5-0 win against SC Ostbahn XI .

In 2015 he rose to the regional league with Stadlau as master of the city league . In the promotion season 2014/15 Behounek came to 17 missions and scored two goals. He played his first game in the regional league in August 2015 when he came on as a substitute for Benjamin Koglbauer in the 62nd minute on the first day of the 2015/16 season against SKN St. Pölten Juniors . In March 2017, he scored his first goal in the third-highest division in a 3-2 win against SC Mannsdorf .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the fourth class amateurs of SV Mattersburg . With these he rose to the end of the season as champion of the regional league Burgenland in the regional league. In the promotion season he was used in all 30 games of the season and scored two goals. In May 2018, he was in the professional squad for the first time against FC Red Bull Salzburg , but was not used.

In January 2019 Behounek was awarded to the second division club SV Horn . He made his debut in the second division in February 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on matchday 16 of the 2018/19 season.

After the loan ended, he returned to Mattersburg for the 2019/20 season. He made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga in August 2019 when he started against FC Red Bull Salzburg on matchday two of the 2019/20 season. After six Bundesliga appearances for Mattersburg, he moved to second division FC Wacker Innsbruck in February 2020 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. After the end of his contract, he left Innsbruck after the 2019/20 season. He then moved to the Bundesliga club WSG Tirol for the 2020/21 season .
