Mathias Honsak (born December 20, 1996 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Honsak started his football career at Floridsdorfer AC . From there he moved in 2007 to the youth department of FK Austria Wien , then to FC Stadlau , where he was also used in the first team. In 2014 he moved to FC Liefering in Salzburg . In January 2016 it was awarded to the Bundesliga club SV Ried .
After the loan ended, he moved up to the FC Red Bull Salzburg squad . He also continued to play for FC Liefering as a cooperation player. In his first game after returning home, he scored the winning goal to make it 2-1 in the Lieferinger game against Kapfenberger SV .
In August 2017 it was awarded to league competitor SCR Altach . In July 2018 it was awarded to the second division Holstein Kiel in Germany until the summer of 2019 .
The striker did not return to Austria for the 2019/20 season and switched to the German second division club SV Darmstadt 98 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
National team
Mathias Honsak was in the squad of the Austrian U19 national team, for which he made his debut in a friendly against Switzerland on September 5, 2014. In March 2017 he made his debut against Australia for the U21 selection .
