Marcel shoes (born January 13, 1993 in Kirchen an der Sieg ) is a German soccer player . The goalkeeper is under contract with SV Darmstadt 98 .

Career

Schuh played in the youth team of 1. FC Köln from 2006 . In the summer of 2012 he was added to the professional team as the third goalkeeper behind Timo Horn and Thomas Kessler . He continued to play games for the second team; he was not used for the professional team.

In January 2015, Schschuhe joined the third division club Hansa Rostock . There coach Karsten Baumann gave him preference over Johannes Brinkies . On January 31, 2015, Schuhe made his first professional appearance in a game at SV Wehen Wiesbaden , which the Rostockers won 2-1. He also played all other games of the season for the Hanseatic League and contributed to relegation. On May 13, 2015, he and the team won the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Cup in the final against TSG Neustrelitz (1-0). The following participation in the DFB-Pokal 2015/16 ended in the first round; Shoes and FC Hansa lost to 1. FC Kaiserslautern, who are in the 2nd division , 4-5 on penalties.

In the third division season 2015/16 , Schuh completed 37 of 38 league games. Only against FSV Mainz 05 II on matchday 37, coach Christian Brand gave Brinkies a one-time preference. The game ended 0-4. Hansa won the 2016 national cup final against FC Schönberg 95 with shoes on penalties 4-3 and qualified again for the DFB Cup the following season. Also this time they were eliminated in the first round. Against the second division club Fortuna Düsseldorf , shoes and FC Hansa lost 3-0. Schuh completed all league games in the third division season 2016/17 and won the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Cup for the third time. He had played in 98 competitive games before he left Hansa at the end of the season.

Since the 2017/18 season he played for the second division club SV Sandhausen ; he received a two-year contract there. Shoes made his debut for SV Sandhausen on matchday 1 in the away game at Holstein Kiel . He played all 34 league games for SV Sandhausen in the 2017/18 season.

For the second division season 2019/20 he was signed by SV Darmstadt 98 , where the goalkeeper received a contract valid until 2022 and replaced the regular goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes who had left the club. Between the 1st and the 2nd matchday, Schuh broke his arm during training and had to be replaced by Florian Stritzel from then on.

On March 27, 2011, shoes for the U19s of 1. FC Köln against SG Wattenscheid 09 scored a goal from their own penalty area. This goal was voted goal of the month March 2011 by ARD . Shoes was the fifth goalkeeper to score a goal of the month.
