Serdar Dursun (born October 19, 1991 in Hamburg ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

family

Dursun was born in Hamburg in 1991 as the son of Turkish guest workers . His younger brother Serkan (* 2001) is also a soccer player.

Career

Dursun first went through the youth teams of the Hamburg clubs FTSV Lorbeer Rothenburgsort , SC Vorwärts-Wacker 04 and SC Concordia . In 2008 he was discovered by the talent scouts of Hannover 96 and hired for their youth department. After two years, he moved up to the squad of the second team in 2010 , from then on developed into a regular player and played 27 point games.

In the summer of 2011 he left Hannover 96 and moved to the Turkish first division club Eskişehirspor , for whose reserve team he was used and only made his professional debut at the end of the season in a point game for the first team. For the second half of the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the second division club Şanlıurfaspor . When he did not get more than five point games here, Dursun was loaned out to league rivals Denizlispor for the 2013/14 season. In the summer of 2014 he moved to third division club Fatih Karagümrük SK in Istanbul , for which he completed two seasons.

After he had convinced in the trial training, the German second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth signed him for the 2016/17 season and provided him with a one-year contract until June 30, 2017. In March 2017, his contract, at which time Dursun was the team's top scorer with eight league goals, was extended for another two years until 2019.

For the 2018/19 season, Dursun moved to league competitor SV Darmstadt 98 . There he signed a three-year contract. As a regular player, he was the team's most successful goalscorer with eleven goals.
