Fabian Holland (born July 11, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German football player . He is under contract with SV Darmstadt 98 and is used as a left-back and in the defensive midfield .
Career
societies
Holland, who was born in Berlin, started playing football at FSV Forst Borgsdorf , a district club of Hohen Neuendorf in the Oberhavel district , before moving to Hertha BSC's youth department in 2003 . There he went through all youth teams and moved up in the summer of 2008 to the second team , whose regular he was from the 2009/10 season. In the summer of 2010, it was found that Holland had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome , which is why he had to undergo heart surgery. However, he quickly returned to training and was back on the field in early October 2010. At the beginning of February 2011 he was allowed to train with the professionals for the first time. On April 21, 2012 (32nd matchday) he made his debut in the professional team when he was in the starting line-up in the home game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . Initially equipped with a professional contract until the end of June 2013, this was extended early in December 2012 to the end of June 2016.
For the 2014/15 season , Holland was loaned to the second division SV Darmstadt 98 for one season. With 26 second division games in which he scored one goal, he contributed to promotion to the Bundesliga . On July 5, 2015, Holland signed a two-year contract in Darmstadt. After two years and 44 Bundesliga games for Darmstadt, he went back to the second division with the Lilien after the 2016/17 season . On May 7, 2020, he extended his expiring contract until the 2021 season.

Holland played his only international match for the U-20 national team , which played against Italy under coach Ralf Minge .
