Ensar Arslan (born August 1, 2001 ) is a German - Turkish soccer player who plays as a striker for SV Darmstadt 98 .

Career

Arslan made his debut for the Darmstadt U19 team in the A-Juniors Hessenliga in the 2018/19 season. In total, he was on the field in 18 games and scored three goals. Before that he played for the juniors of SC Viktoria Griesheim and Eintracht Frankfurt .

He played 16 games in the 2019/20 season, but the league had to be ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic . Darmstadt took first place at this point and Arslan was the top scorer with 27 goals this season. The team was promoted to the A-Juniors Bundesliga .

In November 2019, Arslan signed his first professional contract with SV Darmstadt 98 . He made his debut as a professional player for Darmstadt on June 18, 2020 in the 2nd Bundesliga when he came on for Nicolai Rapp in the 86th minute in the game against Arminia Bielefeld . Darmstadt lost the game 1-0.

On July 20, 2020, he signed a new contract until 2022.

Private

Arslan is of Turkish descent but was born in Germany. His older brother Enes Arslan also played in the youth department of Darmstadt and is now active for the Hessen division Viktoria Griesheim.
