Adrian Stanilewicz (born February 22, 2000 in Solingen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a Polish-German football player . He played in the youth team of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen from 2010 to 2019 and made his men's debut there in 2018. He was then a permanent member of the professional squad for one season from mid-2019. He has been under contract with second division SV Darmstadt 98 since the 2020/21 season .
Between 2015 and 2016 he competed for the youth teams of the German Football Association . Since 2018 he plays for those of the Polish Association .

Stanilewicz began his career with the clubs Solinger SC 95/98 and 1. FC Union Solingen in his hometown. 2010 came into the youth of the Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . He made his debut in professional football on December 13, 2018 in a group match in the Europa League at AEK Larnaka . He came on in the 88th minute for Lucas Alario . At the beginning of the 2019/20 season, Stanilewicz was accepted into the professional squad of Leverkusen after his time as an A-youth had ended. He was taken into account several times in the matchday squad, but only came to play in the Europa League.
For the 2020/21 season Stanilewicz moved to the second division club SV Darmstadt 98 .
National team
Stanilewicz has both German and Polish citizenship and is therefore entitled to play for the selections of the German and Polish football associations . Between 2015 and 2016 he competed for the U16 and U17 of Germany and played for them a total of eight times, scoring one goal.
In 2018 Stanilewicz decided to play in the Polish U20 . On May 13, 2019, the coach of the selection called Stanilewicz to the squad for the U20 World Cup , where Poland was the host country. He was used in all four games of the tournament in the starting lineup. The Polish selection finally lost to Italy in the round of 16 .
