The Town of Forest is one of 16 towns in Richland County in the US state of Wisconsin . In 2010 the Town of Forest had 352 residents.

The Town of Forest is located in southwest Wisconsin and is traversed in the northwest by the Kickapoo River , a right tributary of the Wisconsin River, which flows into the Mississippi . The intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota on the Mississippi is about 60 km to the west. After Illinois is approximately 135 km to the south.

The Wisconsin State Highway 56 runs west-east direction through the whole territory of the Town of Forest, while the Wisconsin State Highway 131 runs along the Kickapoo River through the Northwest. In addition, the County Highways G and I run through the area of the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
With Richland Airport there is a small airfield around 40 km southeast of the town. The nearest commercial airports are Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa (around 150 km south-southwest), La Crosse Regional Airport (around 85 km north-west) and Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital Madison (around 135 km east-southeast).
