The Santiago Formula E race track is a temporary street circuit for races in the FIA Formula E Championship in Santiago de Chile with a length of 2.470 km. On February 3, 2018, a race took place on this track for the first time as part of the 2017/18 season .
The course runs on public roads, directly on the Río Mapocho . It runs clockwise and consists of twelve curves. Avenida Santa María forms the start-finish straight , then the route turns right onto the Puente Pio Nono over the Río Mapocho. This is followed by a 90-degree left bend and two 90-degree right bends around Plaza Baquedano. The route leads from there via Avenida Libertador Bernado O'Higgins, where there is a hairpin . The route then turns left onto Irene Morales and then turns left again before Fuente Alemana onto Merced. After a right bend, the road leads over the Purisma through the Parque Forestal and then turns left onto Avenida Cardenal José María Caro, where it again runs along the river. After a right-hand bend, the route leads over the Puente Loreto, after which it turns right again onto the start-finish straight.
