The Miami Formula E racetrack is a temporary street circuit in Miami , Florida ( USA ) for Formula E races with a length of 2.169 km. On March 14, 2015, a race took place on this track for the first time as part of the 2014/15 FIA Formula E Championship .

The route consists of eight curves and runs clockwise over public roads around the American Airlines Arena and twice under the MacArthur Causeway . A special feature of the course is that the start and finish lines are in different places and the pit lane is between turn six and turn seven , parallel to the finish straight.
