The Sanya Formula E Circuit is a temporary street circuit for races of the FIA Formula E Championship in Sanya with a length of 2.236 km. On March 23, 2019, a race took place on this track for the first time as part of the 2018/19 season .
The course is located in the seaside resort in the south of the island of Hainan and runs on public roads in the immediate vicinity of Atlantis Sanya . It runs counterclockwise and consists of eleven curves.
history
In July 2018, the FIA Formula E Championship announced the implementation of the first Sanya E-Prix for March 2019. In November 2018, the organizers published a sketch of the route; there was no official presentation of the course, as is usually the case.
