Forró is a Hungarian community in the county Encs in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Forró is located in northern Hungary , about 33 km northeast of the Miskolc county seat and one kilometer west of the county town of Encs . Neighboring communities are Csobád and Fancsal .
Attractions
- Roman Catholic Church Nagyboldogasszony , originally built in the 14th century, rebuilt in 1729 in the Baroque style, the tower was only added in 1762–1763
- Sculpture Várakozás , created in 1982 by István Borsos
- Sculpture park with statues by Szent István király , Lajos Kossuth and Imre Nagy , created by Sándor Nemes
traffic
The main road no.3 runs through Forró , from which the road no.2625 branches off towards Fancsal. The municipality is connected to the railway line from Miskolc to Hidasnémeti via the Forró-Encs train station .
