history

The forester's house was first mentioned in 1842. At that time it was called "Forst-Haus", was part of the community Neundorf and the parish Hellmitzheim assigned. The house was the residence of Count Limpurg-Rechtern's hunter, and there was also an apartment for day laborers . It was then part of the possessions of Baron von Massenbach until 1967 , before it came into the possession of the State of Bavaria.
