Waldhof (also whistles Bacher-yard) is a remote area in the district of Iphöfer hamlet Hellmitzheim in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen .
Geographical location
The Waldhof is located in the east of the Iphöfer municipality on an unnamed Bibart tributary . To the north there is an extensive forest area with the desert areas Mönchshütte and Schnackenbach . In the northeast, the Bruckhof is on federal road 286 . To the south, the federal road 8 runs past the courtyard. To the south-west is the Seehof district of Iphöfer , further to the west is Possenheim .
history
Waldhof is one of the younger towns in the Kitzingen district. The farm got its name from its builder, while the name Schnackenbach from the former executioner's apartment nearby was popular for a long time . In 1809, the rulers of the Counts von Rechteren-Limpurg built the Waldhof as an agricultural property. In 1818 the facility was also called Schnackenbacher Hof.
