Obere Dorfmühle (also Maulmühle ) is a wasteland in the area of the Iphöfer district of Hellmitzheim in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen .
Geographical location
The Obere Dorfmühle is relatively centrally located in the Iphöfer municipality on Kirchbach . In the north, separated by the Nuremberg-Würzburg railway and national highway 8 , is Poss home to find. To the northeast is the Seehof , while Hellmitzheim is immediately to the east. The south is occupied by the district of Dornheim . In the direction of flow of the Kirchbach stream, the Untere Mühle follows in the southwest . The municipality of Markt Einersheim begins in the east .
history
The Obere Dorfmühle was first mentioned in 1655. At that time, fields were described as "bey der Obernmühl". The plant received the prefix Obern- to distinguish it from the lower mill further downstream. In 1785, the miller Johann Jakob Körling was named as the owner of the Upper Village Mill. In 1833 the "Ortsmühle, Dorfmühle also upper mill" appears in the sources. The mill is popularly called the Maulmühle.
