Frank Findeiß (born September 19, 1971 in Trier ) is a German poet and music teacher .

life and work

Frank Findeiß was born in Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate, in 1971. After graduating from the Hilda-Gymnasium in Koblenz and then doing military service with the Army Music Corps 300 , he began studying philosophy , education and sociology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in autumn 1994 . In the summer of 2001 he obtained the degree of Magister Artium with a thesis on Karl Marx . After completing internships and working as a freelancer at radio , Radio 96.8 and the community radio of Radio Bonn / Rhein-Sieg and the online magazine bumbanet.de, he began a correspondence course in journalism in 2008 Free journalism school in Berlin, which he successfully completed in 2010. As a scholarship holder of the Citoyen Foundation, he studied from 2013 in Lüneburg at the Leuphana University and at the Dr. Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main specializes in music education ("Music in Childhood"), which he completed in 2017 with a bachelor thesis on the individual and society in the texts of Herbert Grönemeyer .

During his studies in Bonn and the subsequent professional activity, he devoted himself increasingly to creative writing since the mid-1990s. At the beginning of the 2000s he was increasingly able to distinguish himself in publications, so that he is represented in numerous poetry anthologies to this day, including in the Martin Werhand Verlag in the series Junge Lyrik . Furthermore, his poetry was recognized in projects that received national attention, such as in 2006/2007 in the context of the event Poesie Bewegt , organized by the Bremen transport company and the Apollon Foundation under the artistic directors of the time Renato Mismetti and Joachim Tuz, the event organized by the Forum -Literaturbüro e. V. in Hildesheim organized event Bookmark 2014 and 2016/2017 as part of the literary machine project of the Center for Action, Culture and Communication (ZAKK). In April 2015 his first own volume of poetry, Sozialisolation, was published in the 100 poems series by Martin Werhand Verlag. His second poetry publication appeared a year later under the name Blutonium in the series 100 poems by the same publisher. A third, fourth and fifth volume of poetry with the titles Albtrauma , secret messages and Alpha addiction were published in September 2017 and payable in December 2018 and in December 2019 the number of 50 poems. In his works he mainly deals with political and socially critical issues.

Frank Findeiß works as a freelance music teacher in Bad Godesberg .

He will also stand for the party Die PARTTEI in the Bonn district association in the 2020 local elections as a candidate for the mayor
