Frank Petersen

Frank Grischy, stage name Frank Petersen (born April 30, 1951 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German pop singer .

biography

1966–1969 he learned the trade as a retail salesman and in 1986 switched to banking. From 1969 to 1971 he took singing lessons in Speyer .

From 1994 until today Petersen has made regular television appearances on SWR , MDR television , ARD and ZDF . Frank Petersen was often represented in Happy Vineyard , Happy Everyday Life and Every Sunday with Stefan Mross . In the program Die Schlagerparade der Volksmusik with Andy Borg he won first place on April 6, 1998 with the title Canto d´amore . With the title So wie Du , the Palatinate singer and his little duo partner Romana achieved another first place in the popular music parade in 2001 . This track was released on the album Music Works Wonders in 2001.

With Montagna Silencio he qualified in 2003 for the special program The golden tuning fork .

From 2003 to 2009 Frank Petersen was seen with his Palatinate songs in the Badisch-Palatinate Carnival on SWR television .

In 2005 his DVD Ich bin en Pälzer Bu was released , which was realized and published under Georg Martin Lange . This was also received in the USA and Canada. Since healing from an illness in the spring of 2010, Petersen has been singing more and more church concerts. His church music repertoire consists of hymns, classics such as the Ave Maria by Franz Schubert and titles composed especially for him. In September 2011 the single Das Licht der Welt was released.

He wrote the script for Frank Petersen: my guests, my songs (2010) himself. This production will be broadcast on Bible TV as a 6-part program.

Petersen released his new album Schau vorwärts in July 2015 . All 12 songs have a contemporary and cheerful sound, yet there is a serious message in every text. It contains eight new songs and with "Wie Caruso", "Rosa" and "Come as a stranger, go as friends", three well-known new hits. Petersen supports Lebenshilfe with the album and his motto "Joie de vivre through Lebenshilfe".

The popular broadcaster SWR4 of the Südwestrundfunk presented Petersen's current single Schau vorwärts in the popular hit parade. The song debuted at number 2 on August 20, 2015. In the following week Schau vorwards took first place and was able to hold this place two more times.

Every year Frank Petersen was in the support program of the Kastelruther Spatzen at the Kastelruther Spatzen Open Air on the Loreley open-air stage . On August 22, 2015, Petersen was the moderator of the last Kastelruther Spatzen-Open Air 2015, which was relocated to the Conlog Arena in Koblenz due to a breach of contract on the part of Loreley Venue Management GmbH . First the Kastelruther Spatzen appeared with their current program, then the Amigos presented their current and best hits. Frank Petersen also presented the three songs "Summer rain on the skin", "Look ahead" and "You are heaven and hell" in advance.
