Frank Sandmann

Frank Sandmann (born August 3, 1966 in Marl ) is a German actor , voice actor , presenter and author .

Life

Frank Sandmann studied theater , film and media studies from 1988 to 1994 at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and graduated with a Magister Artium . He trained as a radio presenter at Ad Roland Media Service in Hilversum . Afterwards he was a moderator and editor- in- chief at various radio stations. In 1990 he started his radio career at Radio Down-Town Erlangen , then went to Radio F Nürnberg and worked at Funkhaus Nürnberg as a presenter and editor for Radio Gong , Radio Charivari and Hitradio N1. For four years he was the presenter of the morning show at Antenne Thüringen .

From 2000 to 2004 he completed a part-time journalist training at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Studies of the Political and Social Sciences Faculty of the Free University of Berlin with the degree "Licentiatus rerum publicarum" (Lic. Rer. Publ.).

Sandmann had his first actor roles back in the 1980s. In the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen , he assumed the role of the student Perchik in the 1986 musical Fiddler on the Roof by Jerry Bock . Since 2003 he has been a member of the Kronach Faust Festival , which has been held at Rosenberg Fortress since 1995 . As an author for Chrismon , taz , Schweizer Sonntagszeitung , Deutschlandradio Kultur , Tagesspiegel , Berliner Zeitung, Frank Sandmann has published some articles that mainly deal with social issues.

In autumn 2010 Frank Sandmann started the live talk show Wer ist Gabi? Together with Volker Sondershausen . in the Café Bilderbuch in Berlin-Schöneberg . After 16 issues, Sandmann ended this series in spring 2013, and took it up again in January 2020 as part of the “We are neighbors” series of the “Quartier Bayerischer Platz ” association together with Volker Sondershausen. Since 2011 he has been working as a public relations officer at the Lette-Verein Foundation in Berlin-Schöneberg and occasionally appears as a singer and presenter. He moderated various events for the City Museum Foundation, the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district , including the “Green Buddy Award” in 2016 and 2017.

In June 2014, graphic designer Daniel Bauer and Frank Sandmann published the children's book Der Waldlauf at Leiv Verlag.

In February 2018, the was the Middle Ages - RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance published, has contributed to the Frank Sandmann as a voice actor in several roles.
