Frauke Sinjen

Frauke Sinjen (born March 21, 1940 in Hamburg ; † July 4, 2003 ) was a German actress .

Life

Frauke Sinjen was the daughter of a journalist and a graduate engineer. After her father fell in World War II, she grew up with her sisters Julia and Sabine in Hamburg and Munich. Sinjen first worked as a journalist before she got into acting. In 1960 she made her debut at the side of Peter Alexander in the comedy Kriminaltango by Géza von Cziffra . Sinjen was seen repeatedly on the screen until 2000. One of the main roles in the 20-part series Our Pauker earned her great popularity, and later she worked as a guest actress in series such as Derrick , Forsthaus Falkenau or Aus heiterem Himmel . In addition, Sinjen was extensively active in television advertising and appeared in over 300 spots. Fr As a voice actress, she was one of several German voices of the American colleague Majel Barrett in the series Raumschiff Enterprise .

Frauke Sinjen was married to the architect Gerd Wiegand until his death in 1994 , who was primarily responsible for sports and transport structures and, among other things, had helped design the Olympic Village in Munich. She found her final resting place in the Irrsdorf cemetery next to her sister Sabine .
