from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Friedrich-Karl Nikolaus Konstantin von Zitzewitz (born February 22, 1863 on Gut Muttrin , Stolp district , Pomerania ; † December 20, 1936 in Berlin ) was a landowner and royal Prussian landscape director .

family

He came from the old behind Pomeranian noble family Zitzewitz , his parents were born the landowner Friedrich von Zitzewitz and his wife Feodora from Zitzewitz.

Zitzewitz married on May 21, 1886 in Groß Nossin (Stolp district) Emmy Julie Blank (* May 2, 1867 in Elberfeld ( Wuppertal ); † June 11, 1941 at Gut Kottow , Stolp district, Pomerania), the daughter of the manufacturer Ernst Blank and the Julie Boeddinghaus . The sons Friedrich and Georg and two daughters emerged from the marriage.

Life

Zitzewitz was the landlord of Muttrin, Kottow, Groß-Gansen, Goschen and Jamrin (all in the Stolp district), was a legal knight of the Order of St. John , a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania and from 1909 to 1918 a member of the Prussian manor house .

On the occasion of the celebration of the 600 years of ownership of the family estates in the Stolpe and Wipper rivers , the von Zitzewitz family was granted the right to present the Prussian mansion on October 16, 1900 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe .

In the "Acta Borussica" you can read that at the beginning of 1909 there was an insulting process in the " Zitzewitz case " concerning Messrs. Breitenbach and Heeringen . There was probably a difference of opinion with the Prussian Minister Paul von Breitenbach (1850–1930), Minister for Public Works, and perhaps the royal Prussian Colonel General Josias von Heeringen (1850–1926), an honorary citizen of Kassel .
