Friedrich von Ringelmann
A. Friedrich von Ringelmann (born October 24, 1803 in Würzburg , † January 13, 1870 in Munich ) was a German lawyer and politician. Ringelmann worked as a university professor and was Bavarian Minister of Education and State Minister of Justice .
Life
Friedrich von Ringel man received in 1828 a reputation as a professor of German Law at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg . Under King Max II he was Bavarian State Minister of the Interior from 1849 to 1852. Theodor von Zwehl was his successor . Ringelmann and Zwehl led the preparatory work for an extensive renewed school regulations for the higher education institutions in Bavaria. Friedrich von Ringelmann succeeded Karl Joseph Freiherr von Kleinschrod (1797–1866) as Bavarian Minister of Justice in 1854 . In 1859 he resigned and was replaced by Karl Christoph Freiherr von Mulzer (1805–1875).
